About the role

As Housekeeping Valet at Domes Noruz Chania, you will support the housekeeping team in keeping the hotel clean, welcoming and running smoothly, so that our guests enjoy a comfortable stay.

What you will do

Housekeeping support

Help clean guest rooms, corridors and public areas.

Replenish cleaning supplies and linen, such as sheets and towels.

Collect clean linen from the laundry and store it correctly.

Maintenance and equipment

Let your supervisor know about any damage or cleaning supplies needed.

Carry out small repairs in hotel areas when needed.

Clean and look after cleaning equipment.

Health, safety and hygiene

Follow cleaning procedures in line with hygiene and safety standards.

Apply strict cleaning and hygiene rules.

Check for wear or faults and report them to the maintenance team.

Special requests

Help set up tables and chairs, move beds and similar tasks.

Respond quickly to special requests from guests and colleagues.

Requirements

What you will bring 

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in hospitality.

Good knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures.

A responsible approach and attention to detail.

Team spirit and good collaboration with all departments.

The ability to work in a fast paced environment and stay professional under pressure.

Good time management and the ability to prioritise.

Knowledge of English is desirable.
