Food Service Assistant

Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at Cardinal Newman College, PR14 4HD.

You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Temporary zero hours February until July

0-20 hours per week

Monday to Friday shifts between 9am - 3pm

Term time only position- 35 working weeks

£13.45/ hour

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers

General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food

General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service

Till work and taking payments

Restocking items and stock rotation

General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.

We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal.

Key Requirements

Previous catering experience preferred

Customer service experience required
