Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Reservations Agent.
Position Summary
The Reservations Agent handles daily guest bookings and communication for multiple properties within a centralized reservations environment. The role focuses on accurate reservation entry, professional guest service, and effective coordination with the Reservations Manager(s) and other departments.

The Reservations Agent handles daily guest bookings and communication for multiple properties within a centralized reservations environment. The role focuses on accurate reservation entry, professional guest service, and effective coordination with the Reservations Manager(s) and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Create, modify, and cancel bookings accurately in the PMS/CRS.
- Ensure all guest information, special requests, and payment details are properly captured.
- Upsell room types, add-ons, and hotel services to maximize revenue.
- Follow established SOPs for booking (processing/ corrections), deposit policies, and communication.
- Coordinate with Front Office Department(s) for guest requests, VIPs, upgrades, and special arrangements.
- Assist with room allocation, rate checks, and inventory updates when needed.
- Support group reservations—block creation, pickup updates, rooming lists (as assigned by Reservations Manager).
- Support other team members when needed with the guidance of the Reservations Manager or Head of Department.
- Ensure all emails and pending tasks are cleared within required timeframes.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of all room categories, packages, facilities, and promotions.
- Always maintain a professional relationship & atmosphere.
Requirements
- Two years’ experience in hotel room reservations, front office, or customer service (experience with Leading Hotels of the World standards will be a definite plus).
- Familiarity with PMS/CRS systems (Opera Cloud, Webhotelier) and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and handle multiple requests.
- Proficient in English; Good knowledge of additional languages will be a definite plus
