Ergazo respects your right to delete your personal data. This page explains exactly how to request deletion depending on how you used our service.
Facebook and Instagram users
Ergazo does not use Facebook Login to sign users in, and we do not collect personal data from visitors to our Facebook Page or Instagram account. We only publish job listings and educational content to our own Page and Instagram Business account via the Meta Graph API. If you interacted with a post on our Page or Instagram and want that comment or reaction removed, please delete it directly on Facebook or Instagram, or email privacy@ergazo.com with a link to the post and we will remove it on our side.
Job seekers (applicants)
If you applied to a job on Ergazo and want your application data deleted:
- Email privacy@ergazo.com from the address you used to apply.
- Include the job title or URL you applied to (optional but helps us locate your record faster).
- We will delete your name, email, message, and any uploaded files (CV, cover letter) from our database and storage, and confirm by email.
Employers (job posters)
If you posted a job on Ergazo and want your posting and company data deleted:
- Use the magic edit link we emailed you when you posted the job to mark the job as expired.
- Or email privacy@ergazo.com from the email address used to post the job, requesting deletion.
- We will delete the job listing, company record (if no other active jobs reference it), and any associated applications, and confirm by email.
How long it takes
We complete deletion requests within 30 days, as required by GDPR. Most requests are processed within 72 hours. Backups containing deleted data roll over within 30 days.
