Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Department: Food & Beverage – Front of House

Reports To: Assistant Beverage Manager

Job Profile:

Ararat – The Signature Collection is seeking a dedicated and service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to join our luxury hospitality team. The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, efficiency, and guest satisfaction in line with 5-star expectations. The role involves leading and guiding the team in delivering service excellence according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while supporting management in ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Job Description:

Operations & Service

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
  • Guide the team in delivering service excellence in accordance with SOPs
  • Ensure smooth coordination between restaurant, kitchen, and bar teams for timely service delivery
  • Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction throughout service periods
  • Ensure proper functionality and cleanliness of all restaurant equipment and report issues to management
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards

    Staff Management & Development

    • Supervise, motivate, and support the restaurant team to maintain high service standards
    • Assist in shift planning and staffing levels when required by the Restaurant Manager
    • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to team members
    • Encourage teamwork, professional growth, and a positive working environment
    • Support staff in understanding and applying SOPs and service standards

      Customer Awareness & Guest Experience

      • Understand and anticipate the needs of both external guests and internal residents
      • Build strong guest relationships through consistent, high-quality service
      • Actively seek and respond to guest feedback and handle complaints professionally
      • Promote continuous improvement in service delivery
      • Maintain a professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude at all times

        General Duties

        • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement discussions
        • Maintain effective communication with management and team members
        • Report operational issues or concerns promptly to management
        • Perform additional duties as assigned by management when required

          Health, Safety & Quality Assurance

          • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety procedures
          • Conduct regular inspections of restaurant areas to ensure compliance with standards
          • Ensure adherence to Ararat cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards
          • Identify and report hazards or risks immediately

            Person Specification:

            · High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree is an advantage)

            · Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment

            · Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

            · Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and service standards

            · Experience with POS systems

            · Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken)

            · Positive, approachable, and guest-focused personality

            · Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

            · Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
