About the role
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and enthusiastic Chef to join our culinary team at St. George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort.
- Assist the Executive Chef in the daily kitchen operations
- Support food preparation and service for hotel restaurants, events, and buffet service
- Prepare and present dishes in both the hot and cold kitchen sections, including salads, cold appetizers, and buffet items
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in accordance with hotel policies
- Assist with stock control and proper storage of ingredients
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or professional kitchen environment
- Good knowledge of basic culinary techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn and develop
