Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees Company’s daily operations
- Designs strategy (short and long term) and set goals for growth and results
- Maintains budgets and optimizes expenses
- Defines the Company’s Policies and Procedures
- Ensures that employees are working productively and developing professionally
- Supervises the hiring and training of new employees
- Manages the employee evaluation process
- Evaluates and improves Company’s operations and financial performance
- Responsible for the preparation of reports requested by the senior management
- Ensures staff comply with Health and Safety regulations
- Provides solutions to problems (e.g., profit decline, employees' concerns, etc.)
- Reports to the Managing Director
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration and/or Industrial Engineering / Management and/or Financial and/or any other related field
- Master’s degree in any related field will be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both verbal and written
- Excellent computer and digital literacy with the ability to follow and implement trends
- Proven experience as a General Manager
- Proven leadership skills and experience in managing people and teams effectively
- Experience in planning and budgeting, and effective follow-up for adjustments
- Strong financial understanding and application
- Strong business acumen, analytic skills and reporting
- Excellent communication, projects management and problem-solving skills
