Bar Waiter/Waitress - Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos

As a Bar Waiter/Waitress, you will serve guests in the Bar or Lounge areas according to company standards, ensuring top-notch hospitality in all Food and Beverage areas. You will also serve and explain drinks, cocktails, and coffees, including their ingredients and any allergy information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests promptly and warmly
• Take and serve beverage orders efficiently
• Respond to guest requests
• Be familiar with the bar menu and procedures
• Have good knowledge of wine selection and service, as well as beer service
• Input guest beverage and food orders into the point-of-sale system
• Upsell available promotions
• Keep the serving station well-stocked at all times
• Accurately process and collect payments from guests
• Attend daily briefings to learn about special service requirements

  Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of a Hotel & Catering school
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, and coffees
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused
  • Proficient in using the Point of Sale system
  • Courteous, professional, and efficient
  • EU citizen or holder of an EU work permit
